Here is Monday's quickwrites.
As the smoke slowly crept closer, I ... coughed and coughed, louder and louder. Smoke surrounded me. Water slowly but painfully dropped from my eyes "Drip, Drip." I ran like a soft breeze of wind. My feet dragged along the ground. Scars dug deep into my crackling skin. "AAGHH!" Fire burned into my veins, I reached for a breath, then the fire caught me and dragged me in. Goodbye.
The crows were gathering, the hunt was on ... me, sticks snapped into my toes. My blue velvet dress dragged along the ground, a big black crow dived down and clawed my dress into a T shirt, the egg fell into a soft pile of hay. Small cracks slowly appeared on the egg, I ran like a gust of wind, found a safe place for the egg and left it there before I was turned into smithereens.

Quickwrite 23.5.18
On Wednesday we tried a new type of Quickwrite when we had to write to a picture.
The wind rustled my feathers as I dove down
and planted myself on an old rotten
banana peel. "Ooh! What is this?" I pecked at
the waving food. "SQUAWK!" My beak slipped
through the food pulling it all around my body.
It felt like I had just plopped into an ocean full

There's a monster in my...
In Moana we are starting to write poems on Storybird. Our assignment was 'There's a monster in my...'. We had to find some cool monster art out of the ones we were given. Then we had to choose some words from a limited selection and drag them onto the picture.
Here is mine.

Quickwrite 17.5.18
As I tightened the wheel ... to Mr Eponge Wannabe's black lamborghini, diesel sprayed into my face. "HURRY UP ALREADY!" I heard an old crackling noise coming from the ice black lamborghini. An old and wrinkly potato faced man wound down the window with disgust. Mr Eponge Wannabe wore a black suit with a pink bow tie. He had deep wrinkles pressing into his skin, a fat head and a long dirty nose with a mole the size of a m&m at the tip.

Out of the Blue DLO
Hello, in week 1 of Term 2 our deputy principal, Koka Rachel, gave us a challenge to make a DLO on something we have learned this year. I chose to do it on most of the stuff that we learnt in Term 1. Try to get all the Questions from 1-10 correct, and remember to click the grey and white arrow.

Charlie Magazine
Hi again, here is a magazine cover I created for this year. I am in Room 2 and 3 (Moana). The title is Charlie, the Subtitle is BRING ON 2018, and the three paragraphs at the bottom say three facts about me: What are Your Main Goals This Year, Family of Five, and 10 Big Questions Answered. I am hoping to make a whole magazine at the end of this year and be able to sell it at the Craft Fair.
