Quickwrite 21.5.18

In fifty years time, the world will be ... Attacked by Mr Eponge the second and his Jogging MOM army. Mr Eponge and Mr Eponge the second have been working on their Jogging MOM apocalypse since 518 BC (old). Their potato lab has been attacked over 999 times by the amazing Foosabonk. The secret potato science lab is a mystery for all living humans. It took the Eponge's 1550 years to finally create their jogging MOM serum. Any MOM that goes for a jog will automatically sent to a random Potato field, sprayed with the serum and COMING FOR YOU!!! (in fifty years time)

Jogging MOMS are copyright for anyone without permission.

Out of the Blue DLO

Hello, in week 1 of Term 2 our deputy principal, Koka Rachel, gave us a challenge to make a DLO on something we have learned this year. I chose to do it on most of the stuff that we learnt in Term 1. Try to get all the Questions from 1-10 correct, and remember to click the grey and white arrow.

Charlie Magazine

Hi again, here is a magazine cover I created for this year. I am in Room 2 and 3 (Moana). The title is Charlie, the Subtitle is BRING ON 2018, and the three paragraphs at the bottom say three facts about me: What are Your Main Goals This Year, Family of Five, and 10 Big Questions Answered. I am hoping to make a whole magazine at the end of this year and be able to sell it at the Craft Fair.

Kawa For Care

Here is a poster I made with Hana and Mahia. Our focus is learning how to look after our chromebooks properly, and stay safe online.

Kawa for care is about caring for your chromebook, being responsible and respectful, so that in the future we won't have any BAD digital footprints. Also being kind to others, thinking about how you would want to be treated. Holding and putting our chromebook in safe places so you don't have any accidents.

Here are 9 steps to success on commenting.

1. Start with a greeting "Hi..."
2. Compliment the author on one specific detail "I like..."
3. Does it remind me of something similar, make a connection.
4. Add detail to your connection or ask a question.
5. Did they follow the success criteria?
6. Reread for sense.
7. Check for spelling & Punctuation.
8. Check with a Teacher.
9. PUBLISH

How I Plan My Week

Hi, this is how I plan my week using Google sheets. it helps me stay on task and organised. Let's get started.

Step one: Every week we get a Google form emailed to us from our teacher, open it and fill in the workshops you want to go to (need).

Step 2: Go onto the Learning hub website and click the link to the timetable.

Step 3: On the Timetable there will be a column for you, and all the days of the week except Friday, fill in the times you do a workshop with the teacher.

Step 4: Pack all the spare blocks with the stuff you need to finish and do.

Step 5: Follow!
